It my Birthday today
The last year i can say im in my 40 s , maybe after this year its polite to not ask a woman her age
sreiously though it doesnt bother me, here i am right now surviving on peanut butter and bread lots of cups of tea and very cheap tinned meatballs, in my little room im renting and sleeping too much on a morning because im still not used to this different time zone from when i was living in America,
I really must get a job soon, Im starting to really like my little room in the house im staying in, apart from on a night when i go to bed really early instead of painting because at the moment its so cold in there, cold in July !!!!!!!
I must stop being a wimp, artists are made of stronger stuff than this i must just put another sweater on and paint ,
But today the rain has stopped

I havnt been around for a while because iv been travelling, Im now back in England , but not only back in England , im in Dorset , and im in love with this wonderful place,
I love my home county of Yorkshire , but nothing can compare with Dorset, the town im living in at moment is great its full of history and the countyside around it is full of magick and beautiful ! I have fallen in love with this beautiful place,
Norman is still in America but hopes to be over in a couple of weeks, I hope he loves this area as much as i do
i havnt a computor at moment im in the library writing this, but should be able to keep looking in and answer some of my messages another day,
im obviously very inspired by my surroundings so must get some art done as well

Its the Summer Solstice ,
Lots of my frends will be at Stonehenge right now I hope they have a wonderful time,
We will be going to the top of a hill and watch the sun come up,

Well we are back on the net! In fact now we have two computors on the net ! in the same room, ! we have gone from ermmm nowt to well lots ! So now i really ought to get some work done on my website while i have the chance i suppose,
I was going to do a painting about the experiances here before i go,
I started it , it was a technicaly good painting, but i ripped it up tonight,
I thought it would do me good to put how i feel in a painting but i dont want it on my site,
I just want to be back home, and see where the painting takes me then,
At the moment im just two sick of guns, big hair and lipstick around me,
Iv found it so weird living in this place,
Im going to have a go at putting links on here, hope it works, first to two wonderful people and great artists , my son Leon [link] and his fiance Claire [link] yes i know im biased but even if they werent family i would still think they were great!

We cant access the internet at home at the moment , been like it for a few days and will be the middle of next week before we can get it back on !
Right now i am writing this on a lap top , We have driven to a hotel carpark to get on line,
Im really upset about this ! because the computor is the only way i have of keeping in touch with my family and friends back home, phone calls are so expensive!
In the meantime i am starting a whole new series of paintings , a completely different theme just for now, going to be quite cathartic i think,we will see ,
So from the cab of the pickup i will say tara for now , and hope to be online proper again VERY soon , this is driving me mad !
